The magnificent waterfront 3 Iguanas Villa is located in the most tranquil area of Placencia Village - located on a private canal of Placencia Lagoon and just 300 yards from the beach. The villa is upscale and loaded with special features exuding casual luxury - a turret with the 3 iguanas mural as you enter, many varieties of tropical trees and plants, ceramic tile and tropical hardwoods throughout, lots of comfortable lounge chairs, custom-designed upscale bathrooms, AC, marvellous mattresses, combination safes and kitchen/kitchenettes in each suite, a private dock on the water and to top it off – a roof-top terrace and plunge pool!
Completed in 2016, our 1st (ground) floor "Hibiscus Suite" boasts a full kitchen - full size fridge/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine etc, in addition to AC, a safety deposit box and a small television. Also provided: hair-dryer, umbrella, bathrobes, bath and beach towels.
This suite has a studio layout and has one queen size bed, a sofa-bed suitable for a young child and a separate bathroom with shower. Body wash and shampoo are provided.
Prices vary throughout the year: High Season (December to June): $125. Low Season (July to November) $100. A peak rate applies for 2 weeks over Christmas. There is an additional 9% hotel tax and 3% service fee.

Summary: The host, Annalise was very warm and welcoming. Great location. There is a restaurant/bar next door with live music and great food. Although there is a restaurant, there is still plenty of peace and tranquility. The timing of the noise is just right. The size of the unit works - not too big, not too small. I like the touch of the bathrobes, not everyone in Belize provides them, but they should. It's so convenient for the climate when transitioning between showering and dressing.
