This home is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood located on Saucepan Creek. Our three bedroom, two bath home is everything you'll need for a quiet relaxing stay close to Ocean Isle Beach (5.6 miles) and Sunset Beach (7.6 miles). Pack your clubs as the home is close to numerous top rated Golf Courses. Relax on the back deck, swing in the hammock, bring your fishing poles to fish off the dock, explore in the creek with our four kayaks, or take a short drive to Ocean Isle or Sunset Beach. Whatever activity you choose to do, you are sure to have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed. The master bath has a soaking tub, stand up shower and double vanity. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The couch in the living room has a pull out bed with a double mattress. The living room and master bedroom both have flat screen TV's with ROKU and wireless access so you can connect to your favorite apps using your own password. The house has a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, 12 cup drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig, toaster, and microwave oven in the kitchen. The kitchen has all essential items needed.
Linens and towels are provided for your convenience.
Because our home is located on a tidal creek, our dock does not accommodate boats. You will be able to see the Shallotte River and Intracoastal Waterway from the dock. The creek is not for swimming. Please be aware that the bottom of the creek is filled with oyster shells. We recommend shoes when kayaking.

Summary: This was our 2nd stay at this home on Saucepan Creek and we still have nothing but rave reviews and had the best week! We are frequent visitors to the OIB/Holden beach area and love how relaxed and family friendly it remains. The home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path where it is peaceful and relaxing. You aren’t on the island but you’re close enough (5-10 min from sand) and you do have a private yard and dock. The backyard is well shaded and the kids love the swing and hammock. We love spending time on the dock, fishing and crabbing. The home is exactly as described and is well kept and cleaned. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has all the dishes/pots/pans/utensils you will need. We took advantage of the kayaks again this year and explored the creek both ways. We took a kayak trip and landed on the backside of Holden and had a beach to ourselves for the afternoon. Make sure you pay attention to the tides! We enjoy watching the wildlife and even caught some shrimp this year! Thank you again for sharing your home with my family!
