1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. Spacious, comfortable and safe. Pleasant cross breeze due to layout. The apartment has two balconies with a spectacular view of the San Juan harbor with El Yunque in the background.
Located at La Puntilla, it’s just steps away from the 'Paseo de La Princesa' promenade, the Governor's mansion and all other monuments and historical points of interest in the old city. The apartment is within walking distance of all restaurants, bars, boutiques, grocery stores, etc. in Old San Juan.
Situated on the same street as the Coast Guard and U.S Customs, the area is monitored by local and federal police. The apartment building is right in front of el Museo del Arsenal (see pictures).
Conveniently located near the bus terminal, a secure municipal public parking lot, and a ferry that will take you across the San Juan bay to Cataño where you can visit the Bacardi Rum Factory.
This apartment is best suited for parties of 2 who can tolerate sleeping in the same bed. The couch is not a sleeper sofa and there is only AC in the bedroom.

We charge a check-in fee for all arrivals. An additional $25 will be charged for arrivals between 6pm-10am, as well as arrivals on all major holidays (ie. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Three Kings Day, etc.). The additional $25 check-in fee is also charged when a guest's anticipated arrival time is delayed by more than one hour. Please let us know your arrival time when requesting a reservation. Check-in time is flexible depending on our staff's availability.
*Please note, THE APARTMENT IS ON THE FOURTH FLOOR. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR!
*There is only AC in the bedroom. The living room/kitchen are have a nice cross breeze from the bay.
* The television is a onn. 32” Class HD (720P) LED Roku Smart Television.
There is no cable service. The television can be used for streaming shows and movies from personal accounts (Netflix, Prime, etc.).
* The apartment does include private parking space. We recommend parking in the public municipal parking lot located on the same street (Parking La Puntilla), which offers reasonable daily rates.
*We are a small father/daughter family operated business. We love our apartment in Old San Juan and are happy to share it with guests who are respectful of our property and house rules. We cannot be held responsible for local/municipal water and electrical outages and we are not equipped with power generators. Although infrequent, it is important for our guests to know that these outages can occur. We do not offer refunds for municipal power outages (water, electric & internet). We encourage all travelers visiting Puerto Rico to do their research regarding the history of Puerto Rico, its relationship to the U.S and current events in Puerto Rico concerning public infrastructure and services.

Summary: My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment, which has a superb view of the harbor and Tradewinds breezing through the many patio doors, giving a wonderful tropical vibe. The apartment is centrally located so everywhere in Old San Juan is easy to walk to, including the forts and ferry. The spacious living area is well appointed and comfortable, so we were able to prepare meals easily when we didn’t feel like going out to the many nearby restaurants , or kick back and read, or - as we mostly did- watch the world go by from the high balcony. The hosts, Olivia and Luis were very responsive to any questions and very friendly, making the trip that much more enjoyable.
