Summary: This house reminds me of a treehouse, because it is nestled in the trees @ Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s within walking distance of the lake. We enjoyed our stay! We used the fireplace in the cold mornings and the ac units on some afternoons. The house has a washer & dryer which really helped, a coffee machine, lots of cabinet space and a large fridge. The furniture gave it a home away from home feel. We loved the location and drove to Hawley and Honesdale for dinner. We took a day trip to Knoebels one day, which is a farther drive. There is a cute little Zoo nearby called Claws N Paws and a Marina in Lakeville. We also drove to The Beautiful Waterfall at the Boy Scout Camp and had a good dinner at Alaska Pete’s. The house is a great spot to relax, as it is so quiet and private. We did see several deer nearby. We walked out on the private dock and didn't fish this stay, but next time we will. This house would be a good place for a family with kids or teens. I definitely want to come back again in the future. Five Stars!
