Only minutes from the beach and downtown Carpinteria, we invite you to unwind here in a gorgeous midcentury modern that evokes the Hollywood Hills. Relax in a beautiful library with a breathtaking mountain view, barbecue outside with your family and friends in a spacious backyard, with an outdoor flatscreen TV, and relax in a brand-new hot tub under a clear night sky.
THE SPACE
Our home is a large 2500 sq foot two-bedroom, two and half bath, midcentury modern house, with a spacious backyard surrounded by beautiful gardens and avocado, oak, and magnolia trees. The backyard patio includes a 70-inch flat screen TV, an outdoor couch and chairs, a propane gas table, a BBQ, and water features. Common spaces, include a kitchen with cooking utensils and pans, a coffee bar, and dishes. The dining room includes a majestic oak table seating ten to celebrate a special occasion, and a library with a wood burning fireplace and views of the Franklin Trail and the Carpinteria foothills. Amenities include free parking, free wi-fi, flatscreens TVs in each bedroom, towels, linens, and a newly installed hot tub off the master bedroom. The property is surrounded by a working 20-acre organic avocado orchard but is located only five minutes to downtown Carpinteria, polo fields, shopping, local restaurants, wine bars, and the ocean. There is no other home like it in Carpinteria to decompress and relax. It is truly magical. The home sleeps comfortably six adults. A king bed is located in the master bedroom, a queen wrought-iron bed is in the second bedroom, and a brand-new queen IKEA sofa bed in the library. A local property manager is just a text away to answer any questions or address any concerns that may arise. We are new but we are committed to doing our best to ensure you have a wonderful stay at Vista Grande.

You will be able to enjoy exclusive access to the home and backyard, however, we cannot allow access to the working avocado orchards surrounding the property for liability reasons.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Vista Grande offers natural beauty and privacy just a few minutes away from the beach and city of Carpinteria. Coexisting with this beauty, however, is the native wildlife found everywhere in Santa Barbara County, including but not limited to peacocks, deer, foxes, coyotes, wild cats including bobcats and feral cats, snakes, bears, and mountain lions. All these animals have been spotted recently on and around the property and orchard.
We want to remind you of a few key wildlife safety tips during your stay at Vista Grande.
1. Wildlife can be unpredictable and can and do appear on the property, especially at night during which many of them do their natural foraging and hunting. Guests are responsible for using their own sound judgment, situational awareness, and safety, while staying on the property. Please never approach any wildlife, no matter how friendly they may appear, and do not leave small children and animals unattended. Emotional support animals should never be off-leash, especially at night.
2. Never leave attractions out for the animals such as food or any kind of lure to take photos. Absolutely no hunting or pursuing game is permitted at Vista Grande.
3. Before going to sleep, ensure all cars and the house’s
doors and windows are secured and latched.
