2 Bedroom House with Parking, Bedding and Wellness Facilities
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located get away spot. It's just a few minutes walk to the light rail station, and 11 minutes to downtown from there. Close to Meow Wolf, Empower Stadium, and all that Sloan's Lake has to offer! Excellent remote work setup with standing desk, external monitor, and keyboard. Nice pantry for long-term stays. Cozy blankets, soft lighting, and plenty of hygge for relaxing after a day exploring in the city.
You will receive a door code prior to your arrival. If you need anything during your stay, please reach out! Otherwise we'll leave you to enjoy your time in the space.
You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. The back yard and porch are shared. Note that there is a "garden level" / basement apartment below.
Ample street parking is available on the South side of the house (W 14th Ave) and in front (Osceola St). Note that there is NO PARKING on our side of W 14th Ave on the Second Thursday of each month. Please pay attention to other street signs as well, and note there is a fire hydrant in front of the house. Do not park in the driveway.
BEDROOMS
The first bedroom features a queen-size bed with Purple brand mattress, flanked by matching night stands with drawers, blackout curtains - great for sleeping in - a full-length mirror, and a closet stocked with hangers. Enjoy a private makeup nook as well as direct access to the bathroom.
Solid, wooden bunk beds with Casper mattresses - a full on the bottom, softly illuminated by fairy lights, and a twin on top - outfit the second bedroom, along with a desk, closet stocked with hangers, and cabinets for storage.
LIVING AREA
The living room seats 5+ and offers an internet-connected 4K TV. There is plenty of room for dinner and games at the dining room table, with a few games and puzzles on hand to enjoy.
KITCHEN
If you like to cook, you'll find the kitchen well-appointed to prepare meals from scratch, including a 5-burner gas stove and an oven with an air fryer setting. A full-size fridge, microwave, and a very quiet dishwasher round it out.
BATHROOM & LAUNDRY
The bathroom accommodations include a bathtub, soft-close toilet seat and bidet, shower head plus wand, mirrored medicine cabinet, and full-size laundry machines, plus an ironing board and iron. A curtain offers some additional privacy between the recessed toilet and the rest of the bathroom.
OFFICE / WORKSTATION
Need to work remotely? A motorized sit-stand (adjustable height) desk, high-end office chair, oversized adjustable keyboard tray, and 27" HD external monitor offers one of the best, most ergonomic work setups away from home. There are three USB ports on the back of the monitor to plug in your peripherals, then connect to your laptop via one USBC cable. (Note: some other cables are available. Please ask for details if you have questions.)
GENERAL
Throughout the home there is ample space for luggage, instruments, and any equipment you bring along. All floors are hardwood, except in the bathroom which is tiled.
EXTERIOR
The front and back porch offer an opportunity to enjoy Denver's notorious sunny days and lovely evening skies. The yard is fenced and grass-free. Enjoy the soft glow of string lights and candles on the front porch when the sun goes down.
- We allow one well-behaved dog, but require a $50 pet fee. Please make sure your dog is added to your reservation.
- There is another apartment below that has a well-behaved dog. Though the dog is not to be left unattended in the yard, note that you may cross paths in the back yard.
- The north wall is shared with a neighbor. There can occasionally be some sound transfer through the shared wall in the main bedroom from the neighbor's TV; it tends to be rather low-volume.
