3 Bedroom Villa with TV, Private Pool and Oceanfront

Villa Shimaruku is een stijlvolle mooie woning voor 6 personen met een mooie tuin en privé zwembad met diverse soorten fruitbomen zoals een shimaruku, cashew, zuurzak, mango, banaan en granaatappel.
De naam van de villa is afgeleid van een boom in onze tuin genaamd shimaruku. Aan deze boom kunnen meerdere malen per jaar vruchten komen die vergelijkbaar zijn met een kers. Deze vrucht heeft de meeste vitamine C die we in de wereld kennen.
Shimaruku of de West Indische kers genoemd (hier ook bekend als de acerola), is een vrucht dat inheems is aan Zuid- en Midden Amerika en het Caribisch gebied. Na flinke regenbuien, is de vrucht meestal te vinden op de shimaruku bomen. De boom lijkt op een struik, maar kan ook heel groot worden.
De shimaruku is echt een superfood! Je hebt alleen maar 3 of 4 bessen nodig om voldoende vitamine C binnen te krijgen. De bes is rood van buiten, maar oranje/geel van binnen. Daarnaast bevat deze kleine vrucht ook veel antioxidanten, weinig calorieën en zijn ze rijk aan vitamine A! Wat opmerkelijk is, is dat de groene vruchten zelfs nog meer vitaminen bevatten dan de rijpe vruchten (2 maal zoveel).
Woonkamer:
De woonkamer is erg ruim (80 m2) en hoog. Vooral de hoogte zorgt voor verkoeling in de woning. De woonkamer is voorzien van een ruime hoekbank en een aantal boekenplanken die ruim gevuld zijn met boeken.
Keuken:
De keuken is heel compleet, voorzien van de volgende apparatuur zoals:
- grote koel-/vries combinatie
- oven
- vaatwasser
- afzuigkap
- magnetron
- kookplaat op gas met zes branders
- kleine keukenapparatuur zoals: eierkoker, broodrooster, tosti apparaat, staafmixer,
senseo apparaat, koffiezet apparaat en waterkoker.
Aan de bar in de keuken bevinden zich twee barkrukken.
Hoofdslaapkamer:
Aan de hoofdslaapkamer grenst een badkamer. Deze slaapkamer is voorzien van 2 boxspringbedden, een ruime inbouwkast en is tevens voorzien van een tv en uiteraard airco.
Slaapkamers:
De andere slaapkamers zijn ook voorzien van 2 boxspringbedden, airco en een ruime inbouwkast.
Badkamers:
Beide badkamers zijn voorzien van een glazen douchescherm en een regendouche. Haarföhn is aanwezig.
Berging:
In de berging bevindt zich een wasmachine waar u gebruik van kunt maken.
Terras:
Op het terras vindt zich een eettafelset, loungeset, ligbedden en gasbbq.
Er is volledige privacy met een mooi vrij uitzicht. U kijkt vanaf het terras naar de Christoffelberg.
Zwembad:
Er is een privé zwembad aanwezig grensend aan het terras.
Tuin:
In de tuin bevindt zich een ruime palapa van ongeveer 4 m. x 4 m. waar u heerlijk in de wind kan zitten. Als u geluk heeft kan u tijdens uw verblijf genieten van een van de vruchten die op dat moment rijp zijn. Voor de woning bevindt zich ook nog een zitje waar u altijd uit de zon en in de wind kan zitten.
De villa ligt op het mooie en rustige 24/7 bewaakte Villapark Fontein.
Op slechts 20 minuten van Willemstad en 10 minuten van de mooiste stranden zoals Porto Marie, Cas Abou, Karakter en Daaibooi van Curaçao waar het heel rustig is en u prachtig kunt duiken en snorkelen.
Er zijn stopcontacten aanwezig van 220 Volt.
Er zijn voldoende strandlakens en linnengoed aanwezig.
Op Curacao is het altijd mooi weer. Behalve om te slapen bent u altijd buiten.

Summary: We were 17 nights on site. The house is really nice and has a good location. The check-in went smoothly, it was also gratifying that we were only allowed to check out in the afternoon. Not so pleasing was the fact that in a bathroom and in the kitchen 12 days no hot water was available. Likewise, an air conditioning system for 2 nights could not be regulated in the temperature. The landlord did not offer us any financial compensation for these circumstances. I would also like to point out at this point that the electricity costs are enormous. We only ran the air conditioners in 2 bedrooms at night and ended up with 200 dollars electricity costs. Also the water costs should be observed these were with us 45 dollars because the planting is irrigated. Had the landlord accommodated us a little We would certainly have come back again, so unfortunately not.
