We are delighted to welcome you to our Villa Rural Casa Lolo by HRTenerife Net, located in the upper area of Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife North. The accommodation has three bedrooms for five guests, a Canarian kitchen, two bathrooms, living room, a huge patio with barbecue and sunbathing area to enjoy the wonderful views of the north of the island.
In detail, the house has a master bedroom with a double bed for two people, a bedroom with two single beds, and a bedroom with a single bed; towels are provided for each guest, wardrobes, fan, bed linen. Two fully equipped bathrooms, towels, washing machine, hairdryer. A Canarian style kitchen with all the necessary utensils, fireplace, fridge, microwave, oven, dining area with tables and chairs. The living room with sofa, satellite TV, internet wifi with access to a huge patio where the guest can sunbathe, with sun loungers, tables, chairs, outdoor shower, and also a spectacular barbecue area. In the surroundings of the house, visitors have access to small corners with charms such as: walking among the grape vines, or reading a book at the villa's viewpoint, high up with all the views towards the north coast of Tenerife.
The location of the house is perfect for nature lovers, with hiking connections throughout the northern forest park; ideal for families who want to enjoy barbecues and picnics; also for a complete rest and disconnection from city life or everyday life. From the villa, the distances to Icod de los Vinos and the main towns of the north are about 10 minutes by car.
Icod de los Vinos is located in the north of the island of Tenerife, where you can find the thousand-year-old Drago tree and a view of the Teide volcano. Agriculture is one of its main sources of production, with a predominance of banana plantations, vineyards and dry farming in the midlands and higher areas. The centre of the village has shopping centres, supermarkets, chemists, cafés and restaurants. Another great attraction of the area is the underground complex Cueva del Viento-Sobrado, with more than 17 kilometres of topography, the largest volcanic tunnel or tube in Europe and the third largest in the world. It was formed by lava flows from the Pico Viejo volcano, located next to the Teide.
Near Icod is the Playa de San Marcos, a beach of black volcanic sand located a short distance from the town centre of Icod de los Vinos, in a bay sheltered from the winds. In the bay there is also a small fishing harbour, restaurants and shops. From Icod de los Vinos, the guest can choose walks to the mountains, or to the natural black sand beaches of the island.
