Summary: We (2 adults, 4 girls aged 8 to 11) enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is spacious and the garden/pool area even better than expected from the pictures. With sun from the morning through late afternoon, it was warm enought for the kids to spend a lot of time in the pool even though it was late October (and the pool is heated, too!) and to use the (shaded) patio extensively. The outside area also features a boule/pétanque field, a roofed patio with darts and table football and a gas-fuelled barbecue. The three bathrooms and all other rooms were very clean and well equipped. The house is beautifully located in a very silent area high above Châteauneuf-Grasse with magnificent views which alone are worth the trip. On the flip side of the house's beautiful location, both the ascent to the house (up to 15% incline) and access to the driveway can be a bit demanding with a larger car if you lack the respective driving experience. We managed but it was challenging (we arrived in a 9-seats rental bus, admittedly, which is probably the largest type of car that works). If you are looking for a quiet place for your holidays, this should be perfect from spring through autumn!
