Positive: The Hosts at Villa Emma are friendly and so helpful. They have great recommendations about the area and are happy to either help or take a step back, as you prefer. The rooms are very large and beautifully designed and adorned with art works of Valeria, who is also happy to take you to her workshop upstairs. The house has a large and great living room and lovely gardens and enjoys perfect silence, except for the birds. We have heard that the hostess is a great cook, but we only had time for breakfast this time. Breakfast was varied, fresh and plentiful. It was prepared by the owners themselves at the hour of our choice and was served in a beautiful dining room with a view of the propert gardens and beyond. Breakfast included fresh fruits , fresh bread and other baked goods, cheeses, freshly prepared eggs, yoghurt, fresh juice and more. The Welcoming atmosphere could not be better. Need a car to stay here and enjoy Beaune and the neighboring villages/wineries.
