Isolated in silence, surrounded by greenery is Villa Blasi, a place of charm and peace, 1.5 km from the historic center of Osimo and a few km from the main towns of Ancona, Numana, Sirolo, Porto Recanati, Loreto with the famous Basilica !
Villa Blasi, is included in the list of the historic villas of the Marche region, and is located in a territorial area (Eq13) in the system of ridges and scenic roads, of environmental value, (landscape constraint).
The building has two construction phases: it was born as a manor house, with a rectangular body on two floors at the end of the eighteenth century with an internal staircase and a stable on the ground floor and was transformed in the mid-nineteenth century into a Villa, adding two wings with a single floor forming a U-shaped courtyard, creating the entrance of the Villa in the south elevation, with an external staircase with two ramps, with decorative elements, in the cornices, in particular the fascia is made important by a pediment, triangular structure, with a central decorative element "Leone" .
The access road has trees of Pinus pinea and hedges of laurus nobilis, internal path of Tilia cordata leading to the vegetable garden, trees of Laurus nobilis, large bushes of Nerium oleander and Chamaerops. The estate is about 3 hectares, 2.550 of which are sown with wheat and an olive grove of 40 specimens, the rest is the park around the Villa.
The Villa was completely restored from 2010 to 2014, the external elevations, which had undergone chromatic alterations during the twentieth century, from a light blue gray (underneath the cornices there were still traces of colored pigments), to a Pompeian red, like a canton house. , with ocher yellow stringcourses; and vain windows had been improperly closed.
The restoration project has externally restored the Villa as it should have been in the nineteenth century by reopening the old windows, also the external and internal fixtures have been restored and repainted in light blue gray.
On the ground floor 90% of the flooring is original in terracotta, and the manger of the barn has also been restored, on the first and second floors many modern partitions of the 1950s have been eliminated, the floor in the two floors is new and is in planks in chestnut wood of about m. 2 nailed.
