Our home sits high on a hill with amazing views over Lake Taupo and the surrounding countryside.
The two bedroom cottage has a separate lounge area with a well stocked small kitchen, gas fire and large deck plus a private patio.
Just down the hill is Whakaipo Bay recreational area with calm swimming waters and access to the W2K track.
Our home is perfect for anyone who is looking for a rural outlook only minutes from town. It is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

There is parking available for two vehicles. The cottage is completely seperate from our house but were more than happy to help. Just reach out via the app.

There is a great cafe less than 1 minute down the road and plenty of options 10 minutes away in Taupo.
Whakaipo Bay is a great spot for swimming, walking, mountain biking, and having BBQs on the lake.
We are approximately 1 hour from Whakapapa ski field and 45 minutes from the great fishing spots in Turangi.
As we are about 12 minutes from town, you will need a car when staying with us.
This is a rural property on rain water (fully filtered) so please keep this in mind when booking. Also- there is no full kitchen but a microwave, toaster oven, cook plate and BBQ are provided so you can cook simple meals.
Please take your shoes off when inside. If you have sporting equipment (mountain bikes)- these must be stored outside. There are plenty of places to safely lock these up! Just ask for any assistance.
We are on a rural water supply aka rain water. Please be respectful when taking showers.
TV - For reference, the TV is Chromecast (ie. is NOT a Smart TV), therefore you will need to login into your own Netflix/Neon etc or any other accounts during your stay, thanks. Please remember to log out before you depart.
