Positive: It is rather centrally located, yet in a quiet area. Very close to bus stops (to train Station and city center). Parking is possible and free very close to the apartment, but needs some searching before you find a space. The apartment is brand new, looks like they finished renovating it yesterday, and it was squeaky clean. The beds are really comfortable. Trieste Reception sent a handyman on a Sunday right after we called them to come and fix the heating problem (which was eventually not fixed) and the water from the shower overflowing in the bathroom. So Trieste Reception did their best.
Negative: It is pretty dark, at ground floor with windows facing an inner courtyard, which looked pretty run down. We were quite cold there. The heater in the dining room was not working properly, the electric radiator in the bathroom was not working at all. We were only given summer duvets, and when outside the wind was blowing hard (it was some 3 degrees outside), we could not sleep for the cold inside. We asked for extra blankets but those are not provided by Trieste Reception but by the owner, who could not be contacted. The apartment is missing basic appliances such as a coffee maker and a water kettle.
