Positive: Amazing location right in the Old Town, but at the end of a small dead end street with it's own Minoan ruins! This makes it very private, and quiet, considering everything that surrounds it. The air conditioning and fans work perfectly to take the edge off the August heat, supermarkets are all just a few mins walk away, as well as an enormous number of bars, restaurants, sandwich places, kiosks, and of course the port. The terrace is the absolute Highlight, especially for sunrises, and relaxing in the evenings to the chirping of the cicadas. If you want to simply sun bathe and relax during the day, with just the sound of the ocean, it is phenomenal. The Kitchen has everything you would need (except a microwave) so self catering is easy (you also burn off the calories carrying your food up to the roof terrace 😀) If I am back in Chania again (I hope!) I would definitely want to stay here again.
