Positive: Great location near town but not too near (you will most probably hire a car but its not absolutely essential). Lovely, fully equipped room easily big enough for a family of 4. Right on the beach. An exceptionally friendly, helpful and hospitable family own and run this pension. The owner also has a lovely boat so can take you to great snorkelling spots for a reasonable fee. My son injured his finger quite badly (shut it in a door) during the visit and the owner and his son, without the need to be asked, drove us to the local hospital and did all the translation work to get him patched up in no time. If i ever get back to Ishigaki (which is paradise in my view) I will be staying here again.
