3 Bedroom Cottage with Kitchen, Air Conditioner and Bedding
You can’t get much closer to the water than this! No cottage roads just a private driveway on Highway 38. Easy to get to from the 401 (45 min on one road north of Kingston). Our southwest-facing cottage is the perfect place to relax; approx 1200 sqft with a sunroom, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There’s a large flat yard for games, a sandy beach, a floating mat and enough room to launch your small boat or seadoo. There are 2 paddleboards/kayaks and enough dock space for one boat.
The space:
Elbow lake is a private lake (only 58 cottages!), meaning there’s no public boat launch. We’re fortunate to be in a very private and quiet bay with no through traffic, no immediate neighbours and only one small cottage in eyesight.
Enjoy the call of loons, a private sand beach, watch the heron fish, a train whistle that blows a few times a day and full sun! There’s excellent fishing in Elbow Lake; bass, pickerel, and pike. In the evening enjoy the stars and roast your marshmallows on our giant fire pit (please bring your own firewood, marshmallow forks are in the kitchen)
The cottage is freshly painted and fully equipped for your stay! There’s a Napoleon BBQ on the deck and all the utensils you need in the kitchen.
We provide fresh linens, pillows, blankets and towels. There’s a Keurig in the kitchen, Nabob coffee pods, and reusable coffee pods for your own ground coffee. In the pantry, you’ll find a microwave, tea kettle, blender, air fryer (2 baskets), a toaster and lots of storage!
The primary bedroom has a queen bed, two dressers and a closet, one dresser is in the closet. The second bedroom has a twin over double bunk bed and a closet with an additional dresser in the closet. The third bedroom has a queen bed and two dressers. Two of the bedrooms have lake views from the bed.
Rainy afternoon? No problem! There are board games, puzzles and a tv with an Amazon Fire Cube with Prime Video, Netflix, Discovery+ and Disney+.
Should you need them, there are baby/children items available like a pack and play, bath support, toddler toilet seat, step stool, children's dinnerware and a highchair - please request these ahead of time so they’ll be ready for your arrival.
Pets: Pre-approval required - please reach out and tell us a little bit about the pet you wish to bring with you! *Cleaning up after your pet is required.
*There is an additional pet fee, please make sure you include your pet when making your reservation request
Guest access:
You’ll have access to the whole cottage and beach. The detached garage will be locked and not accessible. Our pontoon boat will be docked & lifted and is not accessible to guests.
Please note that the wooden floating dock in the bay belongs to the neighbours as is not for us to use.
