Just a quick note about boat launching: while there is a small ramp near the house at 119 Green Pond Road, it’s a bit tight and not as convenient for bigger boats, especially at low tide. A better option is the Green Pond Landing boat ramp, which is much easier to use and has better access.
It’s only a couple of minutes’ drive from the house and will make launching much smoother.
• From the house, take a right onto route 28 and then your first right at the stoplight onto Davisville Road before the CVS and go until the end of the street about 1 mile and take a right and then the public landing and boat ramp will be on your left. There are parking spaces, but it’s best to launch your boat and then you can dock it at the house and park your boat trailer at the house.
