This charming tiny home with a hot tub is located in Mills River, NC at Acony Bell Tiny Home Village. We are close to Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville, Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest. There is no shortage of hiking & biking trails, waterfalls, breweries and local family-owned shops.
Small dog allowed with $50 pet fee.
Skyglow tiny home is tucked in Acony Bell Tiny House Community. There is a queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed. There is a solid butcher block multi-use table folds down in two sections. This home has a projector and screen that gives one an amazing visual and surround sound system experience!
There is a kitchenette with sink, gas stove and oven and a small under counter refrigerator. Equipped with cooking essentials and the ability to use a BBQ grill outdoors.
The bathroom has a 3-foot shower, wall mounted sink, and a flush toilet. There is storage with drawers under the bed and couch and a shelf and cabinet in the bathroom.
The outdoor patio is partially covered from the sun or rain. It has a 3-person hot tub that is in working order. There is an additional small refrigerator and freezer outside for your convenience. Also, another relaxing spot right off the patio on the side of the house is a hammock under a shade canopy.
If you are looking for a private relaxing home in a safe community while being close to all the beauty of Western North Carolina, you have found it!
Acony Bell Tiny Home Village is a gated community. You will receive the security code before your arrival. We have long term residents in the community and ask that our guests stay within the area of the rental area. There is a walking bridge that goes across a creek. The creek flows between the two rental areas. If you renting multiple homes, you may have a 5 to 10 minute walk to another rental home.
We are usually around but you have the convenience of a simple check-in and check-out procedure.
Mills River is located conveniently between Brevard and Asheville. We are located 25 miles from downtown Asheville, 9 miles to Brevard and 13 miles from Asheville Regional Airport.
Enjoy all the outdoor activities that this area has to offer from Mountain biking to hiking near waterfalls at Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest. You can then enjoy the many breweries or restaurants in this area. Sierra Nevada Brewery and Oscar Blues are just 10 minutes away!
Acony Bell Tiny Home Village has 15 AirBnB tiny home rentals and the rest of our village is occupied with full-time residents. We have a gated community but no physical barrier between our rentals and residents. Please respect their privacy and do not enter the resident area.
We have a firepit to the left of the gated area as you are entering the village. This is a communal firepit for our rental guests in the Tiger Lily area. Please enjoy - as there is firewood and lighter at the firepit.
Across Bolyston Creek, the bridge will take you to the other side of Acony Bell Tiny Home Village, there are many rentals on this side if you have friends and family staying there.
There is a 2 car parking spot in front of the house with an EV charger. Asheville Regional Airport is 10 miles, Brevard is 10 miles, Asheville is 25 miles, Hendersonville is 12 miles, Pisgah National Forest entrance is 6 miles and Dupont Forest is 12 miles.
Holiday weekends require a 3 night stay.
● GARBAGE: Please place your garbage and recycling in the dumpsters to the left of the gate.
● FIRE PITS: The fire pit will be continually stocked with wood. We want you to enjoy them. Please do not use them during quiet hours
● QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10PM until 7AM on weekdays and 11PM – 8 AM on weekends. All outdoor house lights need to be turned off as well. We are a dark sky community.
● SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit in the community is 9 MPH. Please be aware of pedestrians, pets and bikers in the roadway.
● PARKING: Please park in the two-car designated space next to the home. Do not park on grass or other landscaping. No campers or RVs. Travel trailers are considered a vehicle.
● Please enjoy walking on the main roads on the property while respecting our residents' privacy. The garden and chicken are cared for by residents, eggs and vegetables are not for guests.
● NO SMOKING inside the house
No frying fish or food that leaves a strong odor. Many homes don’t have an exhaust fan.
● PET POLICY: We expect all guests with dogs to adhere to the pet rules.
Please notify us that you are bringing a dog and pay the additional pet fee at check-out.
Limit 2 dogs per tiny home.
Dogs must be on leash at all times.
Dogs are not allowed on beds or sofas.
Guests must clean up after their pets on the property and dispose of all pet waste.
If any pet rules are broken or a pet is brought without notice, guests will be asked to leave with no refund.
Main guest who made the reservation must be 21 or older. They are responsible for the actions of all guests in the tiny home. Cleanliness of the Village is important to us. Sites are to be kept clean and orderly, as determined by management. Management reserves the right to evict or refuse entry to any person or group who has evidenced a disregard for the rules without a refund. Residents and guests agree to use the community at their own risk. The management and owners are not responsible for damage, injury or loss to persons, pets or property. We reserve the right to make changes to the rules, regulations and fees that we deem necessary.
