Spectacular ocean and marsh views from every room in this spacious five bedroom home uniquely positioned across the street from The Washout. Enjoy the ocean breeze while lounging on the enormous roof top deck or an amazing sunset while splashing in the private heated pool! Our dock has been extended to access deep water along the Folly River.
Exceptional amenities include - 5 bedrooms with private en suite bathrooms, 4 stop elevator, gourmet kitchen, and private heated pool.
Owners available via phone, text, or email throughout your stay. Pre-arrival communications will be initiated 3 days prior to your arrival, check-in instructions are emailed 1 day before arrival. A keyless entry code is provided at that time so you may experience a contactless check-in.
The Washout (AKA “Hollywood”)
The best surfing on Folly is in the area known locally as “The Washout.” Veteran surfers claim this stretch of jettied beach break is where you can find some of the best waves on the South Carolina coast. Hurricane Hugo was responsible for creating the ideal surfing conditions of The Washout. Where a block of homes once stood, the wind now blows unimpeded across the beach, through the wetlands and then to the Folly River. This wind effect is what experts claim causes the water there to “roll” so well. The Washout is not recommended for beginner surfers.
