Summary: We stayed in this property in 2023 and enjoyed our stay so much that we rebooked for 2024. The house smells musty and clearly has moisture/water issues as evidenced by the smell as well as the failing roof, moss, and slick deck boards. The air conditioners have the same musty, fetid quality as the house. Trash was heaped outside and in the garage (the prop. mgmt. team took care of it promptly after I called). Some of the bed linens were stained and dirty. If this house was cleaned before we got there, the cleaning crew should be taken to task. The garage is a mishmash of junk. The furniture is mostly broken, dirty, and disheveled. It is not surprising it is for sale as the owners have clearly given up on keeping it up to any sort of livable standard. Too bad as the dock and location are superb.
