Summary: Checking in was fine and the room was quiet. When we came back from a warm day of sightseeing the AC did not work. I texted the number I was given and was told the hotel was aware and would have it fixed that night. We asked to move to another room but were discouraged to do so because it is supposed to be noisy. We left for dinner, and the room was still hot and requested to move. The new code did not work and maintenance had to let us in. The new room was quiet. Why did the hotel not want us to move? If the hotel knew about the AC problem, why didn't they work on it before we complained? The woman that we texted with said the hotel would contact us about compensation for the trouble we had. No person from The Winston has contacted us. I advise staying at a different hotel.
