Positive: The house is very well insulated for sound, and you are not bothered by the neighbours or the adjacent guests. The beach is a block away, and we rented beach loungers every day on Sandown's fantastic beach. I would highly recommend this for a true English beach getaway. Super convenient for restaurants and shopping, Sandown is a gem on a comeback. One of Britain's great swimming beaches. Great for kids.
Negative: It would be great to have thick curtains, not just blinds. The house was super clean and well-equipped otherwise.
Summary: Fabulous, tranquil, beach getaway.Park your car and forget it.
