The perfect mountain and lake getaway in the Northeast Georgia Mountains only two hours from Atlanta. The cabin is set back in the mountain, providing a secluded experience near Lake Burton. This cozy cabin expands with outdoor living space of multi-level decks and porches as well as wood-burning fireplaces, both inside and outside.
Additional details:
1. Up to 2 dogs (potty trained) welcome for additional non-refundable pet fee of $75.
2. While the cabin does not have cable, the tv's are smart tv's that include Netflix, Hulu, Disney, ESPN, and Amazon. You are free to sign in to your other apps.
3. Lake Burton is lowered from Nov 1-April 30. Howsver, it’s usually boatable April 1 when the season officially begins and marinas open.

Just over a three-mile drive south is Moccasin Creek State Park, a large forest containing access to Lake Burton for fishing and water sports, scenic hiking trails, several campsites, and even seasonal canoe rentals.
