Positive: The house is beautiful, the kitchen is very well equipped, the beds were all very comfortable, the bathrooms were great. The living space was wonderful to spend time together in, we had an absolutely wonderful weekend. 3 of the bedrooms are very spacious. Loads of wardrobe space. The showers were great, the decor is all very high standard, the TVs were high quality. The hot tub is not the electric kind with water jets, it's heated with a little wood log burner which was actually great fun to use. Location is ideal, just 5 minutes from the A1. We all said we can't wait to book to come back as a group, and would also all come back individually with families.

Negative: I'm being a bit picky, and none of these things let down our stay, but I think at this price point you have higher expectations so the feedback is just small improvements. The weather was VERY hot when we stayed, and there is only one fan in the entire house. We all love dogs, and I think you need to in order to stay here. A neighbours dog was tied up outside and woke everyone up barking at about 5/6am on the Saturday. Another neighbours dog let itself in through the open doors to come and see us twice during our stay. We ran out of toilet roll during our stay - we text the owners and they brought more straight away, but it would have been easier to just have spares in the utility room. Some fly papers / spray would be useful. There is a French press coffee maker and a dolce gusto machine, but no fresh coffee or pods supplied, only instant. We would have preferred Yorkshire teabags! A couple of extra breakfast bar stools would be good so they match the amount of guests. Outside furniture could do with a bit of a clean
