Summary: Rochelle was great to work with - professional, kind, prompt. The size of the house was great for our group of six. The house overall was disappointing for the nearly 3800 we paid for our three night stay. Was it higher than it's currently listed for because it was Halloween weekend?The front door did not seem secure. The deadbolt did not seem to be tight. There was a large gap at the bottom. We placed a towel in the opening to prevent critters from getting in. The weather stripping on the door frame was missing.One of the upstairs toilets leaked. The exhaust fan in one of the downstairs bathrooms didn't work. There were missing and burned out light bulbs. The kitchen lacked some basics - towels, frying pan, spoons, measuring cups. There were only a few washcloths in the entire house. The smoke detector in the downstairs hallway was chirping. The back deck was not as pictured in the listing. I realize it's outside and won't be perfect, but it could've been cleaned up without too much effort. The rugs and living room chair looked dirty/dingy. I'm not confident that the bedspread in the master bedroom was washed because there were a couple of wet spots when we arrived that made it seem as though it may have been spot cleaned. There were many loose tiles on the master bathroom floor.Had we paid less, I would've been able to better overlook some of these many details that weren't quite right. For the price we did pay, I anticipated more attention to these detail.
