Ta Karmnu is a quirky, converted Gozitan house with lovely old features and a fabulous pool area with distant views of the Citadel across rolling fields and terraces.

A stone staircase leads up to the first floor where there is a large twin room and shower room. An extra foldaway bed and/or a cot would easily fit in here if required. A door leads out onto a roof terrace where there are even clearer views and further steps lead up to the top roof area.

A short distance away is the fabulous church of ta Pinu that, since the rumour started in 1883 of our Lady of Ta ‘Pinu talking to a local, has been a pilgrim destination for many. Visitors have included St John Paul 11 and Pope Benedict XV1. The capital of Victoria is a ten minute drive away and a visit to the ramparts of the Citadel to see 360 views of the Island, is a must.
