Nestled in the woods, just 13 miles from downtown Auburn & Auburn campus, 20 minutes from the Auburn Mall, EAMC Hospital & 25 minutes to downtown Opelika, our home offers privacy, convenience & serenity.
Driveway has double parking at the end of the driveway & has space for 4-6 additional vehicles in the driveway, allowing 8 total vehicles to be parked in the driveway at the same time.
The home sits on 8 acres of mature woods and there is an abundance of wildlife around the home including chickens, deer, squirrels, possums, ducks, armadillos, snakes and a variety of insects. As fall approaches, be on the lookout for all the beautiful colors!
There are no steps leading in or out of the home and there are 3 bedrooms downstairs.
Refunds will not be given in the event of unforeseen extreme weather conditions, power outages, internet outages, water outages, or the presence of woodland animals & insects.
Please note that we have a ZERO TOLERANCE for any parties, extra guests (beyond the reserved amount) and broken house rules. The property is NO SMOKING. You will be assessed a $500 fee for smoking inside. Our properties are closely monitored for the safety of our guests, neighbors, and community.
1. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. This includes wipes and all parts of feminine products.
2. Fireplace: if you are not experienced with a wood-burning fireplace, please do not attempt to build one here. Lighter fluid is NEVER to be used in the fireplace. There is a lever in the center top portion of the opening that controls the flue in the chimney. By using the hook on one of the fireplace tools, you can adjust the lever back and forth to open and close the flue. Please ensure the flue is completely open when using the fireplace and that it is completely closed when not using the fireplace. Lever will be hanging down when the flue is closed & will be against the top of the opening when the flue is open. Please be mindful of the hard wood floors when carrying and placing firewood as to not drop the wood and damage the floors.
3. Please enjoy the kitchen by making yourself at home. Our request to you is if you dirty it, please clean it. Please use a cutting board and do not place hot pans directly on the counter tops. Pots, Pans, Metal Cups, and Knives are NOT to be put in the dishwasher, please. Everything else may be cleaned in the dishwasher.
4. Please do not remove remotes from their rooms.
5. Please do not leave house unlocked when you are not here.
6. Please, no food or drinks (other than water) upstairs.
7. If you sleep on the couches please remove the back cushions of the couch & use the sheets provided in the linen closet. Please do not sleep with throw pillows.
8. Please do not use bath towels to clean up spills. There are hand towels in the kitchen drawers, as well as in the laundry room cabinets.
9. Please do not use white towels for removing makeup.
10. No Pets Allowed. This includes ESA's.
11. This home is occupied by owners during the week, so personal belongings may be present during your visit. Please do not rummage through cabinets and closets that are used for storing owner belongings.
12. Please do not access the homeschool room or the office.
13. Piano is only to be played by those that are familiar with this type of piano and children are not allowed to play.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in additional charges. Guests will also be responsible for any damages or theft. If the police are called out to the house for any reason, a $500 fine will be charged.
