Positive: This house was fabulous for our 3 generation family stay. We used the BBQ, had hoped to use the firepit but ran out of time, and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The laundry facilities were excellent, games room spacious with lots of board games and other activities. The kitchen was well-equipped. The setting was so serene and although close to Gatlinburg, we felt that we were away from the hectic pace in the town. We were also thrilled to see a bear and two cubs wandering through the neighbouring property from the safety of our balcony. Communication from the property managers was great. We loved this house.
Negative: These are not complaints but just meant as constructive comments that may help the owners to reappraise. 1. The globes in the bedside lights are too low wattage to allow reading in bed- we needed the main bedroom lights on to do so. 2. The highlight windows in the upstairs bedrooms do not have blinds/coverings over them, thus letting in light early in the morning. Whilst this was not too early in Sept, maybe in summer it could make the bedrooms light too early. 3. Only one teatowel (kitchen towel) was supplied- we could have done with a second one. 4. There were no shelves or drawers for clothing, just hanging space in the wardrobe.
