Walk to the corner and catch the streetcar to Union Station or get off at Whole foods for some groceries. Also a easy walk up to Union Market. Dog friendly so bring fido along.

Summary: We are a family of seven and this house served us very well. Neat house, clean, and a acceptable location for our purposes. Five children (teens and preteens) stayed upstairs. We stayed in the basement. Neat bathroom. Completely tiled and all inclusive. Bring a pair of shower shoes to brush your teeth after you shower if you don't like wet feet. Clean. Kitchen nice size. Living space just perfect for seven. Walkable location to Capitol side of DC (capitol, library of congress, Supreme Court). We walked and felt safe. Long walk to museums and capitol mall area. Opted for electric car tour to see all the monuments. Great tour guide, let us stop at requested monuments, and overall a great experience. Even picked us up at the house! Whole Foods is close, but on H Street. We walked, but definitely felt we needed to be more alert. Walked our dog frequently. Always walked toward capitol, not H street. We did not try the bus system. If back in DC, we would stay again. Thank you.
