Positive: The view is outstanding! We’ve rented several properties in Sea Ranch, and this one is our favorite so far. The home comfortably accommodated our party of 6 + small dog. We cooked most meals, and found the kitchen to meet our needs. Beds fairly comfortable. No problems with bathrooms. House was clean and didn’t smell bad.
Negative: Dog owners beware! My dog picked up tiny ticks every time we walked out the door of the house, even with making efforts to minimize his exposure to long grass and plants. Some of the furniture really needs to updated. One of the sofas feels super broken down, as do the easy chairs. We tried to use the glass table by the windows, but the glass wobbles easily when you use it and things didn’t feel stable. King bed squeaked with EVERY movement our first night. We messed with the frame a bit and managed to decrease some fo the squeaking, but OMG it was annoying. Kitchen needs a sheet pan that actually fits the oven. There is a huge pan that doesn’t fit, with no other alternatives. Plenty of prior reviews mention burned out lights, and they seem to all still be burned out.
