The chalet is located at the Junction end of town, just a 5 minute stroll to restaurant’s , bars, cafes and coffee. The supermarket is a 5 minute drive.
Turoa Ski Field is only a 19 minute drive, and Whakapapa is 50 minutes away.
There is unlimited fibre and a 55” smart TV, you can enjoy endless movies and entertainment while watching your own streaming services.
The gas fireplace warms up the chalet within minutes, you can relax on the couch with a good book, or whip up a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher to help with the clean up. There is a Breville Nespresso coffee machine (pod’s), with milk frother to help you with those early morning starts.
Once you’ve finished your adventures for the day, there is plenty of room to hang your gear in the drying room. Fitted with a dehumidifier, your gear will be nice and dry ready for the next day.
Bedrooms
Sleeping up to five guests, it’s ideal for a small family or two couples. You’ll be toasty warm with the feather/down duvets. One bedroom has a king size luxury orthopaedic bed and the other has a queen size luxury orthopaedic merino bed, and a king single. There are also electric blankets and panel heaters in both bedrooms. They also have 32” smart TV’s fitted on the wall.
Spa
After a big day of adventures, you can soak in the spa and take in the picturesque views of Mt Ruapehu.
Of note:
The chalet is close to the train station/tracks, there are freight trains that go past in the day/evening, however this isn't frequently.
