Welcome to South Haven! My comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with private pool is just waiting for you. Hurricane Milton - October 2024 - I am so very thankful to not have any structural damage to my home or pool. Two palm trees were blown down as well as the wooden fence surrounding my home. The screened pool enclosure was not damaged. As of October 15th the fence is being rebuilt. I’ll be waiting until the spring to plant needles trees. Once the fence is complete I’ll update the photographs.
Sleeping - King bed, Queen bed, two Twin beds and a pullout sofa in the living room. I also have a pack-n-play for any little one’s.
I do accept dogs, due to insurance rules some breeds are not allowed.

Do you plan to spend your days at the local attractions or just relaxing at home? Having a pool in the backyard was something I needed when I bought this home and have never regretted it for one day.

We first listed this home with VRBO in 2008 and have had a lot of guests stay since that time. We are constantly updating furniture, linens and kitchen supplies to ensure that every guest feels like they made the right choice in choosing South Haven.
A concern for travelers is medical access and we have several options within 3 miles of the home. St Joseph Hospital is under 3 miles away. ER 24/7 Facility is under 1/2 mile away.
Grocery, restaurants, department store, fast food restaurants and coffee shops are all under 1 miles away.

Location - Hillsborough County Florida - This is not my address, but you can use it to determine if the location works for you. My local grocery store which is 3 minutes away. 13154 US Hwy 301 S, Riverview FL 33578.
So many sites to see in and around Tampa Bay. Fort DeSoto Beach & Pass-A-Grille Beach are about an hour's drive. Pass-A-Grille is a laid-back beach in my opinion with plenty of restaurants available for a meal or beverage.
Clearwater and Sarasota Beaches are a little over an hour's drive.
Busch Gardens & Adventure Island are roughly 45 min door to door.
Orlando theme parks are usually well under a 2 hours' drive.
Well maintained 3 bedrooms, 2 bath home, main bedroom has an ensuite bath with oversized walk-in shower. Guest rooms are on opposite end of family room and share a large bath with tub/shower combination.
The dining area overlooks the beautiful private pool.
Kitchen has side by side fridge, Stainless smooth surface range, built in microwave and dishwasher. Lots of small appliances like a toaster, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, pots & pans and loads of dishes.
Full size washer and dryer, and I make sure you have plenty of linens including beach towels. Washer and Dryer are free and located in the garage.
1 Mile to amenities such as grocery (Publix and Winn-Dixie, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Sams Club, Bealls Dept Store, Gas Stations, Banks and so much more. The home is located in a residential neighborhood.
No carpet - hardwood floors in all living areas, ceramic tile in the baths, which is great for allergies. I do have some mats near the doors which can be removed on request.
Sliding doors lead to the private screen enclosed swimming pool and extended pool deck in the backyard which has a 6ft privacy fence surrounding the pool area.
Fantastic public golf course open to the public just under 3 miles away in Summerfield called Summerfield Crossing Golf Club in Riverview FL. This is where I live, so I am normally close by should you need anything or have questions about the area.
New State of the Art Movie Theatre just opened in 2017 in Gibsonton.
Downtown Tampa is approx. 20-25 minutes, grocery shopping less than 1 mile away at the corner of US 301 and Big Bend - Interstate is about 3 miles away - we are at exit 246 off of I-75 which is the Apollo Beach exit.

I have added a device called NoiseAware that monitors noise around the pool deck area so that quiet times can be honored that are determined by the county.

“So you’ve rented an XXXXXX or VRBO and you’re wondering what that little box on the wall is doing there. That small but amazingly smart sensor is a NoiseAware privacy-safe noise-detection device. It’s designed for an important purpose: to detect excessive noise and gently caution guests to take it down a notch before you get in trouble. It does not have the ability to identify individual sounds (sneezes, shouts, flushing toilets, crying babies, your best Johnny Cash impression). It simply measures decibel levels over time.
The sensor does not have a camera or recording function of any kind. It measures noise level only, and, when that noise exceeds the threshold allowed by the host and/or local ordinances for a sustained period of time, it triggers a notification.
Sometimes the notification is set up to go to the host. It can also be set up to message the guest directly.”
If guests cause a disturbance which requires being notified multiple times that they’ve exceeded the decibel limit, the reservation will be cancelled and you will be requested to vacate the home immediately. The HOA has a $100 fine per day for a violation and any fines will be required to be paid for by the guests.
Unfortunately as the number of folks using travel sites increases the number of people taking advantage has increased.
