Want to get away from it all and only hear the birds and see the sky and the sea.
This is the place.
The property is 13 hectares ( approximately 39 acres ). There are amazing views from these houses as they are 200 meters above sea level on a hill overlooking the Med.
These secluded, newly renovated farmhouses are unique .
Their location is unique are only 20 minutes from the village of Cadaqués , the sea and in the middle of the Natural Park of Cap de Creus. This property is one of 4 properties in the middle of the Southern part of Natural Park of Cap de Creus. You can hike right from the house.There are amazing views of the sea and there is not one house in sight. The house is totally isolated and so very private and peaceful.
We are off the grid completely. We are self sustained. We Have our own well. The energy runs off Batteries, generators and solar panels.
Cadaqués provides excellent restaurants, clubs, bars, culture... Access is easy from airports at Barcelona, Girona (Spain), and Perpignan (France). There is the AVE and TGV to Figueres only 50 minutes away - under two hours to Barcelona, 4 hours to Madrid, and 5 house to Paris .
The estate is reachable via a DIRT ROCKY road of 4 kms. The entire road has been repaired so the road is smooth for summer 2023. Still a high clearance car is necessary, a 4 wheel drive is highly recommended. It is the only access road to the house and on this side of the National Park.
You enter via a metal gate where you are surrounded by olive, Cyprus, eucalyptus trees.
The houses are decorated with Asian wooden antiques as well as with local antiques. There are all the necessary comforts and a lot of charm.
All the houses have been totally renovated with great care by the American owner with the assistance of local Artisans.
All the MATTRESSES and bedding are NEW. .
WE ARE RENTING THE MAIN HOUSE AND A TWO-BEDROOM COTTAGE WITH A SWIMMING POOL which is enclosed by beautiful rock walls. Very private and protected.
AND we are RENTING ONE BEDROOM AND BATHROOM IN A THIRD HOME. ( PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE INFORMATION AND PHOTOS AS WE DO NOT PUBLISH EVERYTHING ONLINE FOR PRIVACY CONCERNS.)
MAIN HOUSE
There is the main house, surrounded by a very large terrace, which has all the outdoor furniture necessary such as beds, a. hammock, coffee tables, 2 dining tables, with both you can seat 14 people under a large shaded area. There is a barbecue outside. The house is surrounded by beautiful terraces and gardens with lavender and rosemary. There is a picnic table, area below under an enormous fig tree.
Lower floor:
Has a large living room with 2 couches and a large coffee table. On the lower level of living room there is a small dining table and 2 large cushioned benches ( can be used to sleep).
A large fully equipped American kitchen with dining table for 6 and 2 refrigerators , one with a freezer.
A small bathroom with shower .
A large bedroom with a king size bed, a fireplace and its own entrance.
Second floor:
The blue room - Master Bedroom - King bed ( can be made into 2 twins ) with its own sink.
Adjacent is a spacious American bathroom with bath, a large separate shower and two sinks, closed WC.
The small sitting room has one single day bed ( is an extra bed if needed) with a fireplace and its own entrance. It gives off the Blue room. There is a large TV.
Basically - One bedroom. One enormous bathroom. One sitting room ( extra single bed )
TWO BEDROOMS COTTAGE/ POOL HOUSE
with very large outdoor walled in terraced area with pool as well Sitting areas. Sun beds. Umbrellas. Shaded eating area. Small garden.
It is situated behind the main house, 50 meters away, also very private.
It is a 2 double bedrooms / 2 bathroom.
One bedroom has a King bed and its own bathroom with small tub/shower.
2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and its own bathroom with shower only.
It has a well equipped kitchen. With indoor dining area. And a lovely shaded outdoor eating area.
This rustic cottage/ pool house sits slightly behind and above the main house. Amazing views of the sea and the mountain. It has just been renovated and decorated with charm.It has much light.
It is wheelchair accessible
These 2 houses + a third bedroom/bathroom in 3rd house are ideal for a large family or two families taking a holiday together as there are 5 double bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
We have wifi/internet. It is basic connection due to our location. We have basic Wi-Fi coming from satellite. The bandwidth fluctuates, some times you will have a very good speed but others not so much.
We have cable TV in the Main House. Works perfectly.
Our caretaker/ gardener is available and discreetly around to assist you and your family so you can truly relax and enjoy your vacation in this small paradise.
