Positive: This is an inexpensive (for Manzanita) 3-br, 2-ba rental walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped. The primary advantage to this house is the price and the location, although the dune situation has almost eliminated the location as a plus.
Negative: We have rented this house a few times over the past 25 years, and the place really needs updating. The house is old, the kitchen and bathrooms are old, the carpet is old, the backyard has a deck with no railing, the interior is dark, and the HVAC is inconsistent. Also, unfortunately, beach access is severely comprised due to shifting dunes over the years, making the path nearly impassable without a huge climb. Despite being on a hill, there is no view since the house is one story. We'll most likely be looking for house in better condition and location next time.
Summary: Inexpensive 3-bed older rental in south Manzanita.
