Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The house is large with lots of beds & baths. The kitchen was big and open to the living space to visit while preparing meals. We enjoyed the terrific views from the large deck and it was nice being outside of town for more peace and quiet.
Negative: The home needs updated. Furniture is older and raggedy looking. Beds are old and not comfortable. The ceiling fans are really out of balance causing noise while at higher speeds. Since there isn't AC, you need the fans on at night with windows open. Some flooring and other finishes are just worn out and need repaired or replaced. The worst part was the smoke smell in the home, especially strong in one bedroom.
Summary: Great location/views but needs attention!
