At 1,400 square feet, the home lives large and connects seamlessly with the outdoors. There are approximately 80 steps down - but we guarantee it's worth the walk! The beach is private, so you may have it all to yourselves, or you may meet one of our friendly and gracious neighbors.
Warm Heated Floors
Hate cold feet? Us too. The Bluff House is equipped with a propane-powered hydronic heating system that keeps every inch of the floor (even the shower floors!) warm and toasty. It's quiet, efficient and well, fabulous.
The Bluff House was designed as an escape for romance-seeking couples (and their inevitable kids, in-laws and besties). We built the home for ourselves, and the finishes reflect the high-end care and attention of someone building for the long term. The home is warm, inviting, calming and well, romantic. It's the perfect place to ground yourself and your romance before returning to the real world.
Other things to note
There are 80 secure steps down to the sandy beach. Guests may use the stairs but assume all risk in doing so and are urged to proceed carefully and use handrails.At the base of the stairs is a drop-down section controlled by a winch. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to operate the winch. No one may be on the drop down section during raising and lowering.
