Summary: Beautiful property in a beautiful location with countryside views all around - yet only 5 minutes from Sarlat old town.The property was in need of an airing when we arrived but this could have been down to us being the first renter for the season.The upstairs bedrooms were quite dark due to the old wooden beams and the excessive amount of wood cladding in both bedrooms. The weather was very warm and the heat was quite uncomfortable for sleeping overnight despite the availability of floor standing fans.The outside space was excellent and the front terrace was a great place to spend time either soaking up the sun or sitting in the evening shade.All in all, an excellent gite.
