Red Knot Farm is a birder and nature lover’s paradise located south of the canal and is within biking distance of beaches, open space, wineries, and downtown Cape May. Our home was fully booked this summer and received all 5 star reviews.
The property consists of a lovingly restored farmhouse with an extensive breeze filled screen porch including areas for dining and relaxation. Inside, our light-filled home is furnished with a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture. The large private yard holds an outdoor shower, hammock and picnic table and gas grill.
The space
Bikes are on premises and a Steger beach box (available until September 19) is reserved to store all of your beach items at the Cove Beach in Cape May. Across the street from our home is preserved farmland. Willow Creek Winery, Beach Plum Farm, Higbee Beach and Sunset Beach are a short scenic bike ride away. Location is convenient and bikeable to all Cape May has to offer including shopping, restaurants, fishing, beach yoga, Cape May Lighthouse State Park, and the Nature Conservancy. This property hosts enough space to accommodate a family or small group looking to escape the daily routine and relax at the shore.
The first floor boasts a spacious screen porch, living room, kitchen, dining room, ½ bath, and reading room. Upstairs you will find a back bedroom with queen bed , second front bedroom with queen bed, a small third bedroom with a queen bed and a full hall bathroom.
High Speed Internet, cable on TV in living room. Ceiling fans on the porch and in all bedrooms, central AC and washer and dryer and outdoor shower. Our home is available for weekly rentals from June 19 thru September 5. It is also available for Off-Season Rentals with a 3 day minimum.
