On the original manor house you can play basketball, pétanque and even tennis on the in-house court. A barbecue is at your disposal and you can have your meals outside under the fabric pavilion. The heated (with an outdoor temperature of 18°c or more) private pool is fenced for your safety. From the south-facing terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and the rural surroundings. The interior of this house with fireplace is a mix of modern comfort and antique furniture. Through the library you can access the attic with a table for French billiards. Less than 20 km away, on the road to the Château de Hautefort with its beautiful gardens, the caves of Tourtoirac await you, where you can also make a brief stop at the tomb of the King of Araucania. Le Change at Cubjac is located less than 20 km from Périgueux, which will delight you: Small streets, Renaissance buildings, charming little restaurants, Gallo-Roman monuments, the old Romanesque market hall, its international pantomime festival and its torchlight processions in the old town. Thirty minutes away is the Dordogne Valley with the prehistoric cave of Lascaux, the remains of Cro-Magnon man at Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil, and its 'thousand castles', including the Château des Milandes, once the estate of Joséphine Baker.
