This is an appartment inside of a big house with a terrace, full equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom and three bedrooms in an area of Asturias full of history and greatly connected with all the region. It is in the center of Asturias.
We rent the whole house, since the regulation in Asturias does not longer allowed to rent rooms. The owner has herself backpack many countries in the world and she is in love with discovering new cultures. She decided to have a big house to host people in her hometown as it is a very interesting place for travelers: very well connected by public transport and good roads, near to traditional restaurants and sidrerías, near the sea and the mountains and Natural Parks, museums, and with very kind and welcoming people.
There are available 3 rooms for guests in one floor where you also have a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and a terrace that gets sun the most part of the day (when it is not cloudy, of course). Me, the owner, live upstairs and have my own kitchen and bathroom so you will not share it with me. Only, maybe, with other guest if there are.In every room you have a cupboard to leave your clothes, windows and confy beds.
This is a village that is 2 km (20 minutes walk and 4 minutes by car) from a town of 8,000 population (there are lights and a pathwalk to go there), that is part of a long valley. You can also get a bus three times a day from my house to this town, called El Entrego. From El Entrego there are trains and buses to many places in Asturias. By car you can connect my house with all the region very easily as we are in the center. For example, going to a Ski resorts it takes you like 35 minutes. And going to the beach you have the closest 25 minutes away by car.
Here we have in our recent history the work of coal mines and workers fighting for their rights. In the town of El Entrego, you have two very important museums about that: Museo de la Minería and Museo Pozu Sotón where you can access to a real mine 560 meters under the ground. This museum is 2 km away from my house. In fact, my house is located in front of an old coal mine: Pozu Venturo.
After finding out that in my town there is not many places to stay as tourist and after receiving many many visits from my friends from different places in the world, I am happy to offer a house in a place I find very nice and with an affordable price. As a traveler, I always liked very genuine towns and villages, with welcoming people and traditional food and I think this will be a good space for other people that are loving to discover Asturias.
I speak English, Spanish, French fluently and SerboCroatian-Bosnian and Macedonian in a medium level.
