The Stowe Mountain House welcomes families and professional groups (must be 30 or older). Nestled in the wooded neighborhood 7 minutes off Stowe's mountain road. The private property is bordered by Sterling brook with views of the mountain. This location allows you to skip the downtown traffic offering quick and consistent access to the ski resort.
Get ready to relax and enjoy this new custom-built 3800 sq. ft. with the capacity to sleep 12 people. The house offers multiple sleeping areas that include: 4 bedrooms, a large sleeping loft, and an overflow bunk in the media room. The house offers multiple living rooms, an oversized kitchen with seating area, a back patio, 3 full bathrooms, a sled hill, and private brook frontage. The Stowe Mountain House is one of three custom homes on a ¼ mile-long private drive in the beautiful Sterling Valley.
This custom-built Vermont home, completed in 2013, offers quintessential Vermont charm with timeless New England styling that will immediately welcome you into your vacation. The abundant windows warm the house with natural light while directly connecting you to the outdoors. In the great room, the 30’ fireplace and unique corrugated metal ceiling claim's your attention while providing a spacious area for entertaining. This space offers seating for a dozen of your friends on the comfy down Restoration Hardware couches. A few steps and you’re into the heart of the home, in the oversized/open format kitchen with a custom-built dining room table. The kitchen also incorporates a cozy seating area with a coffee bar. Enjoy the game or your favorite show on the 40” LCD while you’re cooking or relaxing in the kitchen.

The property provides immediate access to Stowe’s Sterling Forest (Sterling Mountain)
and Catamount Trail System, where you can enjoy backcountry skiing/riding, world-class hiking, fishing, swimming holes, mountain biking, Nordic skiing, and snowmobiling.
At the property, enjoy the private brook access via the short grass trail so, bring your fishing gear or relax next to the babbling brook with a good book. We also developed the area with a fire pit. During the winter, you can sled down the front hill, and when the brook freezes, you’ll find snowshoe tracks going up the seasonal winter trail.
Hot Tub
Enjoy the new 7-person Pulse hot tub by Hot Springs after your active day. The hot tub is professionally serviced and drained, cleaned, and /or balanced after each group.
Nearby Swimming Holes and Pool
Cool off like a local, get connected to some genuine Vermont fun- cliff jumping at the Gorge off the Mountain Road. This swimming hole has crystal clear water and beautiful Vermont views. Also, The Swimming Hole is Stowe’s year-round indoor swimming pool and fitness center.
