Neighborhood
Filled with amazing cafés, restaurants, parks, things to do and things to see, Peckham has the added joy that nothing is too touristy or overdone. Many of Peckham's restaurants, bars and cafes are independent and a short walk away. Franks rooftop bar is a particularly popular spot with incredible views of central London including The Shard & The London Eye. The Victorian Bussey Building is a melting pot for artistic and creative activity, wind your way through the narrow back alleyways to discover everything from hipster cafes to pottery studios. This is a wonderfully diverse and multicultural area with a unique community spirit. The residents have rebelled against the mainstream and fight to keep their cool and quirky cinemas and supermarkets.

There are a plethora of buses that go through Rye Lane, including 37 (to Putney), 343 (to City Hall), 63 (King’s Cross), 484 (to Lewisham) and 12 (to Oxford Circus).
Cycle: There are dedicated covered cycle stands at Peckham Rye station, monitored by CCTV. Peckham Cycle Club is a local group that offers group ride outs for all standards, from beginners to experienced riders.
Getting away: Gatwick is about an hour away by car, or easily accessible by train via Clapham Junction or Victoria.
