Positive: The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you might need, so I was able to cook small meals and enjoy my stay. There are plenty of spices and food items available, especially for breakfast. I didn’t end up using them, but it was still nice to have. The little garden is beautiful and very pleasant, but I didn’t use it because the neighbor from the opposite apartment also has access. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting there and relaxing since their door faces directly the door of the place I was staying in. The location is great — only a 5-minute walk to a bus stop and not far from the metro station.
Negative: Bedding: the mattress is very soft and sinks when you lie down, which makes it uncomfortable. I had back pain during the first three days and had to sleep on my back afterwards to avoid waking up with pain. The duvet is heavy and had visible stains under the fitted sheet, which was unpleasant to see. Bathroom: the shower curtain was dirty and, as the bathroom with toilet is very small, it’s difficult to shower without the curtain touching you. I had to tie it up to avoid that, and still had to wipe the floor after every shower because water would spill everywhere. In addition, the bathroom is poorly ventilated and gives off an unpleasant smell. I ended up buying air fresheners to make the stay bearable. Amenities: – The TV never worked. – The toaster is faulty and trips the circuit breaker, so it’s unusable. – The portable heaters are full of dust, which is unsafe. I tried to clean them without success. I had to use them because it was cold, but I ended up with a dry cough. Overall, the location is convenient, but the comfort and upkeep of the place are below expectations. The stay was disappointing for the price paid.
