1 Bedroom Cottage with Air Conditioner, Bedding and Internet

This attractive 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage at Spanish Village in Port Aransas is a free standing home located in the heart of town. This unit has been recently renovated inside to create a nice open kitchen, updated bathroom, beautiful coastal colors and furnishings, and high end appliances. The outside space that is included with this unit has been fabulously landscaped and set up for you to sit down and relax with friends and family.
Included with this property is a screened-in cabana area if you want more space to hang out with your group or if you have other friends and family in town and just need a bigger space to get together. The cabana is detached and directly behind the cottage as indicated in the property photos (see picture 14), however it is not shared with any other guests in the community. The owner of the cottage actually owns the land that the cabana sits on so it is only used by guests of this cottage. We provide keys to the cabana at check-in to ensure this.
There is also a community coin operated laundry facility nearby.
Situated on Alister Street, this property is just a short distance away from the grocery store, restaurants, bars and other shopping. It is also conveniently located near Beach street which is a beach access road. These cottages have been a fixture in Port Aransas for many years and offer a truly unique location.
This home can sleep 3, with a king bed and sectional sofa or rollaway bed if preferred.
Please note: This community does not allow boats or trailers of any kind. A maximum of two standard size vehicles are allowed. Golf carts count as one of the two vehicles. Port Aransas STR#524858
CHECK-IN PROCESS:
We are proud to offer contactless check-in and check-out. Sand Key Realty will call you on the day of your arrival, typically in the afternoon once your property is ready, to provide an access code to the property. Please keep in mind that we cannot provide the access code until the property is clean and ready.
WHAT IS PROVIDED:
• Kitchens are well equipped with basic cooking needs (dishes, silverware, pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave and large appliances). Note that food products such as spices or seasoning are not provided for safety reasons.
• All our properties are supplied with one set of sheets for all beds. Bath towels are supplied per number of people the house sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.
• A start up supply of toilet paper, (2 rolls per bathroom), 1 roll of paper towels, 2 kitchen trash bags, 1 kitchen sponge, bar hand soap for each sink, dishwasher tablets (if the property has a dishwasher) and 1 bottle of dish soap will be provided. After that, the guest is responsible for any additional needs.
SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING:
Beach towels, extra paper goods (toilet paper, facial tissue and paper towels), extra pillows if you wish to sleep with more than one, coffee and coffee filters, spices/seasoning, bathing soap and shampoo, extra dish soap, extra trash bags, sun tan lotion/sun block and beach gear.
SELF CATERING: All of our properties are self-catering. No maid or towel service is provided during your stay.
A portion of your total will be donated to the Marlin Legacy Foundation whose mission is to facilitate financial support for the dedicated educators and staff of Port Aransas ISD.

Summary: My husband and I booked this little cottage for our Thanksgiving vacation. It was exactly as described and more than I expected. The property was very clean and smelled great when we checked in. The yard, both front and back, were very well manicured. The additional cabana was amazing even though it was cold and rainy the whole week we were there. The entire backyard is fenced very well; it kept my dachshund in without fear of him being able to escape as many of the other fences in the same community aren't as secure for small dogs. The two TVs both had a Roku device where you can login to your streaming services. The TV in the living room/kitchen area has cable, as well. Wi-Fi was snappy so streaming on the Roku and browsing the web on our phones was easy peasy lemon squeezy. I drink tea every morning and was pleasantly surprised when I found a kettle in the cabinet. The coffee pot worked as expected so my husband could have his morning coffee. The location is excellent. Port Aransas isn't a very large area, but there are a ton of restaurants within walking distance. There's a ton of shopping nearby, too. Beach access is super easy to get to. Check-In and Check-Out were really easy - the property had a lockbox where we both retrieved and secured the key. The only negatives were that the shower was on the small side with a low-ish showerhead, and the bed was a bit soft for our taste. These two things didn't really affect our stay as we were still able to shower, it just took a bit getting used to. We still slept great as the bed is very comfy, just a bit soft for our taste. Overall: 10/10 would stay here again.
