The self-catering accommodation is immaculately presented throughout with much thought, care and attention to detail. Entering the property there is a real cosiness and home from home feeling, a perfect retreat for couples or up to three adults set all on the ground floor with the added bonus of having no stairs. There is a well equipped kitchen and the living/dining room room has a Smart TV and is the perfect place for relaxing. The master bedroom and pretty single room have easy access to the bathroom with freestanding claw foot bath.The well presented, sunny garden is a joy to relax in while dining al fresco.
Shilbottle is located midway between the picture perfect coastal village of Alnmouth to the east and the historic market town of Alnwick to the north west, both being a mere 4 miles from your door. Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland and film location for Harry Potter’s ‘Hogwarts’, is a popular visitor attraction. Another place thats worth a visit is Alnwick Gardens - a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including a grand cascade waterfall and where guests can dine in the restaurant of the largest tree house in Europe.
