Shared private Lake Michigan beach is just 100 yards from the home with no pesky stairs to deal with. This beautiful Macatawa home is the perfect location for your vacation destination. Odessa Cottage is in the Macatawa Park gated community, and is located about 10 miles from both downtown Holland and Saugatuck! Fantastic views of the Big Red Lighthouse can be seen from the beach. Macatawa is the place to be in the summer, and your family will be sure to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and hometown feel that Macatawa gives. Bring your boat and dock it at Eldeans or one of many marinas nearby!
The rocking chairs on the porch overlook the water. Odessa sleeps 10 in 4 queen beds and 1 double bed, and the bedrooms are all located upstairs. The cottage has one bathroom with a shower accessed via the porch and a half bath upstairs. The cottage features a dishwasher, cable TV, VCR/DVD, washer and dryer, gas grill, very private association beach, great LAKE MICHIGAN views with a fabulous sandy beach, screened in porch, and a fireplace. This property allows TWO VEHICLES MAX, which is very rare for this area. This property does not have air conditioning and is not pet friendly.
Holland is located on the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa. Here, you can spend your days at Holland State Park where there is plenty of room for family fun along the white, sandy beaches. You and your family can take an excursion to Nelis' Dutch Village, DeKlomp Wooden Shoe Factory, and Veldheer Tulip Gardens. These places will bring you back in time to experience the Netherlands of the 1800's. If you find yourself in Holland the first week of May, be sure to take a look at the over 6 million tulips blooming throughout the city during Tulip Time festival, which was named the "Best Small Town Festival in America" by Reader's Digest Magazine and received USA Today's "2016 Best Flower Festival!" Downtown Holland is known as the "Great American Mainstreet."
