This two bedroom seaside home is sunny, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Its a relaxing holiday destination
right across the road from the white sands of Ocean View Beach. It is also available for longer short term rental option at a weekly price rather than nightly.

Just 20 minutes drive from Dunedin Airport and another 20min driving north, to Dunedin city.

Once you have unpacked and want to stretch your legs , a two minute walk to the bridge over the local stream, brings you to the entrance of a sandy dune track. Just a short walk and you are at an expansive surf beach with Green Island just offshore. The southern end of the beach has rocky outcrops to climb and explore, with rock pools and hidden coves. To the north you look towards Blackhead.
A children's playground is a short walk towards the next beach entrance and parking.

The nearest shopping is a ten minute drive to Green Island township. You will find a shopping centre with chemist, restaurants, take aways and a supermarket. A further 10 minute drive and you will be in Dunedin city centre.

Or take the scenic coastal road south to Taeri River Mouth fishing village and beyond. (A coffee cart is open there at weekends)

Brighton beach is just around the rocky headland with surf club, dairy, and a cute cafe. It's an easy 20min walk beside a stunning coastline with little rocky bays and outcrops below.
Brighton beach is patrolled by their surf club in the summer months, whereas Ocean View isn't. Stay in the shallows and you can still enjoy a swim. Surfers will be fine.
