Positive: Great location! “Suburbs” of Heidelberg, right by Public transportation. And stores just around the corner. The Appartement was very clean and neat, except for some (harmless!) bugs, which were addressed by the host! The host was very present and checked in on us, great communication. I loved being able to use the washing machine. And I very much appreciated the fans because we were there during a heat wave! This was my very first time renting an Appartement vs a hotel and this was a great experience!
Negative: The Appartement is beautiful, but most of the decorations take away from the space, that’s already tight under the roof. Especially in the loft. The whole Appartement looks bigger in the pictures. It was a bit rough for 3 grown people who are used to having a lot of space. But we didn’t spend that much time there, so it worked for us. The shower kinda floods easily. Having to climb over some type of grate to get in bed was most inconvenient, but if you consider that it’s probably very necessary for airflow (under the roof!), it helps!
Summary: Beautiful Appartement, very nice and laid back atmosphere. I will consider, next time I chose an appartement!
