Summary: I arrived at the Bilbao hotel and It was 20 degrees outside and 25 degrees in my room. I asked about the air conditioning, which was not working. I spoke to several staff about this. Feedback I received from various employees; - Lots of visitors have been complaing for a couple weeks about this. The owner has been made aware of these complaints. - The owner has known about the complaints for a couple weeks. He's cheap and hasn't wanted to turn it on because of the cost. - Many complaints have been passed on to the owner over the last couple weeks. - I will pass your complaint on to the owner. So sorry, I have been trying to get him to authorize activating the air conditioning for a couple of weeks now. So, today I was informed it would be working by end of day. Well, they activated the air conditioning, but it was not working in my room! I was very unhappy about the air conditioning not working and had a miserable night trying to sleep with the high temperature in my room. Regarding noise and dirt, it was due to heavy construction outside the hotel.
