Dinny O's Cottage, dating back to the 19th century, is a newly restored, traditional Irish stone cottage which brims with character, displaying beams and an old style Irish stone fireplace with a woodburning stove. This gorgeous cottage is located in the idyllic countryside yet is only 2.5 miles from the vibrant town of Killarney. It is a perfect location to access our most popular attractions such as the Killarney National Park and the Lakes of Killarney. It is a great base to explore not only all Killarney has to offer, but also, the Dingle Peninsula, the Beara Peninsula and of course, the Ring of Kerry.
This warm and inviting cottage contains two private entrances at the front and rear. It has large living area with a homely woodburning stove built into the original 19th century stone wall. It has a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking, washing machine, iron/ironing board, fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. Oil fired central heating with old cast iron radiators help keep this cottage warm and cosy.
The cottage contains 3 bedrooms with the main bedroom located in the loft area overlooking the living room which has access to toilet facilities. Two cast iron roof lights floods the bedrooms with natural sun throughout the day.
Outdoor facilities include ample parking, all weather seating area with a marble table surrounded by old stone walls with beautiful views of rolling fields and nearby mountains.
The cottage has bus, train and taxi links to Kerry, Cork and Shannon Airport.
